Hello everyone! The Art Rod Festival is quickly approaching. Sunday Sept.10th from 11:00 am till 6:00 pm at the beautiful Grandview Orchard, in Metamora, IL. (follow the signs ) This year we are having a few extra events added.(with other already listed) we will have A LIVE raqu ceramic firing. A blacksmith working down by the lake. and a PINSTRIPING PANEL JAM which is a very cool event. Pinstripers get together, side-by-side and create wonderful, colorful, designs on small panels made out of metal, plexiglass, and everyone coming is encouraged to bring something that they want to have a pinstriped design. Be creative, bring a clock, a mirror, a toilet seat, a can, a bottle, a car, a tool box. Come on out and see this unique "happening". Come hungry because we have Mr. Scott Gregory cooking his famous Pulled Pork sandwiches!! Mr. Gregory has won several Awards for his pulled pork! ~LIVE~ om stage, Paul Adams & Dave Hoffman in the morning. Then the one and only Barry Cloyd will be on stage , and our evening stage presents Mike Cheeseman on guitar. Admission ~FREE~ Of course we wil have a GREAT HOT ROD / clasic CAR & Bike Show all day........bring your car.....
See everyone there !! ~Peace~

Thank you for hosting such a great event each year. We like that you are teaching and bringing supplies for our children to paint and draw with. Our School has cut back on Art and Music the past few years and you are our only Art teacher the kids see. Thank you Mr. DePauw for doing this for the kids.

I met you several years ago. You taught me how watercolors can be fun. Now I have kids of my own and they also want to learn to paint with watercolors. The art tent was a wonderful place near the lake. How charming it was out there at the Orchard. The kids enjoyed the Science. What a fun mix of art & science. Thank you.

I think I saw the art rod car over by Eureka. I see it here and there. It reminds me that it is going to help more kids see how Greg is sharing his talents.
